For LinkedIn, the goal is clear: Make hybrid work more viable and sustainable.

According to Gallup, more than half of people who can work remotely expect or prefer to do so at least part of the time from now on.

LinkedIn’s 250,000-square-foot global headquarters, called B1, was designed on the existing 29-acre campus in Silicon Valley for hybrid working.

Elon Musk plans to call Twitter workers back to the office after 50% layoffs

Elon Musk intends to change Twitter’s current policy of allowing staff to work remotely by requesting that they come into the company’s offices.

Axios reported on Thursday (3 Nov 2022) that Twitter’s policy of allowing remote work may be changing as a result of an upcoming layoff. This decision is a stark reversal of Twitter’s current policy, which permits staff to work remotely on a permanent basis.

According to sources within the firm, many employees are unable or unwilling to transfer, which will lead to additional attrition in addition to layoffs.

Indonesian employees now changing their perspectives to hybrid working

Indonesian employees has the highest preference for hybrid working among ASEAN markets.

Businesses have sought to adjust to the new working environment in response to the disruption caused by the pandemic.

According to a new survey by telecommunications and technology giant Telstra, nearly 85% of Asia Pacific (APAC) organizations are encouraging hybrid work arrangements, and seven out of ten organizations are now hiring people from all locations and permitting hybrid work arrangements.

Employees are becoming more aware of how workplaces might be shaped differently in a post-pandemic context, from remote and hybrid work arrangements to video-based interviewing and debates to higher awareness and push for mental health and overall well-being.
