Philips room displays

Followings are the installation steps of setting up Bookings ONE onto the Philips signage.

Supported device model

Preparation

  1. Prepare a USB Driver (Required 64MB free space)
  2. Download the Bookings ONE Player APK from Here
  3. Upload the APK into the driver
  4. Insert the USB Driver to the USB port behind the device

Installation Steps

  1. In Welcome page, select the language, then click Start
  2. In Security Setting page, click Skip
  3. In Signage Display Settings page, click Skip
  4. In Network setting page, setup Wi-fi / Ethernet based on you network environment, then click Next
  5. In Clone Media Files into internal, click Skip
  6. Setup Complete!, click Finish, then you will enter the default screen of the device
  7. Click the Physicals "Home" and "Volume down" button behind the device together to enter the administrator password screen:
    • For model 10BDL4151T and 10BDL4551T, click the two buttons at the same time
    • For model 24BDL4151T, click the Home button first, after 0.5s click the Volume down button
  8. Enter the administrator password (Default administrator password are 1234)
  9. After entering the administrator password, you will enter the menu screens, click Apps
  10. Click File Manager > USB drive
  11. Find out Bookings ONE Player.apk file, and then click Open and then Install
  12. After install, click Done
  13. Back to the Menu screen, click Setting
  14. Enter Signage display > Source settings > Custom app > Select app
  15. Select Bookings ONE Player
  16. Go back to the Menu screen, click Setting
  17. Enter Date & time > Select timezone, change the timezone to your regional timezone
  18. Reboot the device, then the player will auto start as Bookings ONE Player

After Bookings ONE player installation is completed, please go to the Connect to server to continue to setup the connection of the player to Bookings ONE on the devices.

Advanced settings

How to change the administrator password?

Change the default password to prevent other anonymous user can login by the default password.

  1. Click the Physicals Home and Volume down button behind the device to navigate to the menu screen
  2. Go to Settings > Signage Display > System tools > Change the Administrator Password
  3. Enter current password and then the new password in order to update the administrator password

How to hide the navigation bar?

Hidden the navigation bar can help to prevent user to have access to the menu screen through the back button of the menu bar.

  1. Click the Physicals Home and Volume down button behind the device to navigate to the menu screen
  2. Go to Settings > Signage Display > General settings
  3. Set the Navigation Bar to be disabled

Please noted that after hidden the navigation bar, you cannot click the back button to navigate to the menu screen any more. If you want to open the menu screen, you need to click the Physicals Home and Volume down button to get into the menu screen.

How to setup schedule On/Off?

You can setup the player auto startup and shutdown time in the specified hours for your purpose.

  1. Click the Physicals Home and Volume down button behind the device to navigate to the menu screen
  2. Go to Settings > Signage Display > General settings > Schedule
  3. Click Enabled
  4. Select the start time and end time (e.g. for auto turning on from 09:00 to 18:00, set the start time as 09:00 and end time as 18:00)
  5. Click Input, select Custom app
  6. Select the days of the week. For those unselected weekday, the room display will not turn on
  7. Set the Every week to be enabled
  8. Click Save to save your change
