This is less than we ask of factory workers,\u201d Musk said in a leaked email that has since spread on Twitter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, after planning to cut around 3,700 workers at Twitter, or 50% of the workforce according to Blomberg, this Twitter&#8217;s new owner&nbsp;intends to inform impacted employees on November 4.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Goodbye_to_work-from-anywhere\"><\/span>Goodbye to work-from-anywhere <span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Musk intends to change the company&#8217;s present work-from-anywhere philosophy, so the remaining personnel would be asked to go to offices. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The decision is significant because Twitter was among the first businesses to adopt policies that permitted staff members to work permanently from home due to the pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then, in a May 2020 email with the subject line &#8220;#lovewhereyouwork,&#8221; &nbsp;co-founder and former&nbsp;Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey informed colleagues that they would be permitted to work from home on an ongoing basis, even after the COVID-19 lockdowns are lifted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Many employees, according to company sources, are unable or unwilling to relocate, which leads to additional attrition on top of the layoffs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One insider stated that employees who were hired remotely during the epidemic will only have a short amount of time to decide if they will move to be close to a Twitter office, and they may have as little as 60 days to actually move.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Decision_making_differ_in_the_new_hybrid_working_era\"><\/span>Decision making differ in the new hybrid working era<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Unlike Elon Musk, lots of enterprises determined that hybrid working is the new norm to stay, allowing people to choose the working style they desired. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wall Street bosses have reduced their demands for reentry: Jamie Dimon, CEO of JPMorgan Chase &amp; Co, said&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fnlondon.com\/articles\/jamie-dimon-says-just-50-of-jpmorgans-employees-will-work-in-the-office-full-time-20220404\">40 percent of his staff will work in a hybrid model in the future<\/a>, and Credit Suisse Group AG CEO Thomas Gottstein,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/ones.software\/blog\/2022\/06\/03\/back-to-office-not-realistic\/\">said recently that the bank will never return to full-time office work<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>ONES Software now has a dedicated page to introduce a series of smart office measures to help you solve problems.
