The aim of the survey is to study the difference in working arrangements among hybrid, remote, and office work in Australia.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this survey, it shows that flexibility makes including 58% of males and 42% of females.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The survey asked participants a total of 46 questions, covering their current work arrangements, ideal work arrangements, health and well-being, workplace culture, skills changes and communication technologies&#8230;etc. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The survey shows that:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>54% of workers <\/strong>are following a hybrid work model;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>23% of workers<\/strong> still working remotely full-time, and;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>22.9% of workers<\/strong> return to the office full-time.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Compared to the beginning of the epidemic, the report shows <strong>only 28% of Australian knowledge workers<\/strong> had the chance to work remotely for any part of the week prior to the pandemic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This indicates significant growth in hybrid work and shows lots of workers would like to work with hybrid work as it is a flexible work style.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" Australia have adopted flexible working arrangements and the companies have offered different working styles for employees to choose from. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Combine with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pc.gov.au\/research\/completed\/working-from-home\/working-from-home.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">other reports<\/a>, the result of the research shows that there are three main types of hybrid work. Moreover, three hybrid work styles individually have lots of supporters:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Fixed<\/em> <em>days in office<\/em>: <strong>15% of all respondents <\/strong>said that they need to return to the office on some selected day, such as Monday and Wednesday, and this style is suitable for <strong>29% <\/strong>of hybrid workers.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Fixed office frequency<\/em>:<strong> 13.1% of all respondents <\/strong>said that they have more flexibility than the first style as they can choose which days need to return to the office in a week, and this style is suitable for 24.3% of hybrid workers.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Flexibility to choose<\/em>: <strong>15.4% of all survey respondents<\/strong> said that they can choose to work where they work and when, and it is suitable for 28.5% of hybrid workers.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Australians_Hybrid_work_makes_us_happier_and_work_more_flexibly\"><\/span>Australians: Hybrid work makes us happier, and work more flexibly&nbsp;<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"967\" height=\"550\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/image-78.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2031\" srcset=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/image-78.png 967w, \/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/image-78-300x171.png 300w, \/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/image-78-768x437.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 709px) 85vw, (max-width: 909px) 67vw, (max-width: 1362px) 62vw, 840px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Ideal work arrangements<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the national survey, part of the survey asked participants to indicate their satisfaction with their current work arrangement on a five-point scale from &#8220;very unhappy&#8221; to &#8220;very happy&#8221;.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nearly 94% of flexible workers said they were happy or very happy with this arrangement.
